Privacy Policy
What the contact form and the briefing request form on this site collect, what happens to it, how long it is kept, and how to ask for it to be deleted.
This policy covers the E-Bike Dynamics™ website only. It does not cover the classroom program, enrollment records, or anything California Safe Driver collects away from this site.
What the form collects
The contact form and the briefing request form are the only places this site asks for anything about you. When you send the contact form, these are the fields:
- Name and email address and phone number, which the form requires.
- Organization and comments, which are optional and may be left empty.
- The reason for your message and the page you sent it from.
The server also records, without asking you, the date and time, your IP address and your browser's user-agent string. Those three are kept to stop the form being used to send bulk spam, not to build a profile of you.
When you request the free law enforcement briefing, these are the fields, and the form requires all of them:
- Agency, name and title or rank.
- Work email address and phone number.
- Who the training is for: Patrol, SROs, Probation or Other.
A briefing request is sent to and kept by California Safe Driver's own system, which also records the date and time and your IP address to stop the form being misused. To confirm the request comes from an agency, it may look at the public home page of the website at your email address's domain.
What it is used for
One thing: so that somebody at California Safe Driver can read your message and reply to it. When you press send, the message is emailed to California Safe Driver at their published address and a copy is saved on this website's server.
It is not used for advertising, it is not added to a marketing list, and it is not sold or rented to anyone. A message sent through this form is used only to answer that message, never to follow up about other programs Cobert Safety Professionals runs.
If you request the free law enforcement briefing, we'll email you the briefing and cheat sheet, and we may follow up with you about the briefing and about referring riders to E-Bike Dynamics. Reply at any time to ask us to stop.
Who else sees it
Nobody, other than California Safe Driver and the two services that carry the message on its way to them:
- Cloudflare sits in front of this website and passes requests through to it, so a request for any page here, including the one that sends the form, reaches Cloudflare first.
- The mail providers handling the message between this server and California Safe Driver's inbox, in the ordinary way email works.
- Postmark, the email service California Safe Driver uses to send the briefing email to you.
The spam check on the form
The form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which works out whether a submission is coming from a person or from an automated script. It is what lets the form exist at all without being buried in junk.
Turnstile runs in your browser when the form is open. It may store a short-lived token on your device and it sends that token to Cloudflare to be checked. Cloudflare states that Turnstile is not used to track visitors across websites and does not serve advertising. Their terms describe what it does with what it sees.
How long it is kept
The copy saved on this website's server sits in a database that is not reachable from the public internet, on a machine only California Safe Driver's administrators can log in to.
A message is kept for 24 months, and California Safe Driver then deletes it. The copy that arrives by email is kept for as long as their email is kept, which is their own retention policy, not this site's.
Asking for a copy, or asking us to delete it
Email California Safe Driver at [email protected], or call them at 1-877-525-DRIVE (3748), and say you are asking about a message sent through the E-Bike Dynamics website. Give the name and email address you used, so the right message can be found. They will confirm when it has been dealt with.
Young riders
This program is for juveniles, including riders under 13, but this form is meant for parents, guardians, courts and agencies, not for the riders themselves. Please do not use it to send a child's details. California Safe Driver does not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13 through this form, and any such message is deleted when it is found.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version replaces this one on this page, and the date below changes with it.
Effective September 30, 2026. This page describes the website's own handling of what you type into it, and it is not legal advice. California Safe Driver is Cobert Safety Professionals LLC, DBA California Safe Driver.
